Handcrafted in the USA from solid 14k or 18k gold, the Desdemona Hinge Ring is built with a smooth, secure hinge mechanism that allows for easy insertion and removal without compromising durability. Fit & wear
Choose sizes recommended by your piercer. For threadless ends, a slight bend in the pin creates tension; check security weekly. Hinged and seam rings are delicate—open with a twist (never pull apart).
Care & cleaning
- Daily: rinse after showers/working out; pat dry.
- Routine clean: mild soap + soft brush, then rinse and dry.
- Avoid: chlorine pools/hot tubs, harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners for opal, turquoise, pearl, emerald.
